graphic organizer reflection

This is the graphic organizer I did for the religion project. I was unable to upload a photo for the renaissance graphic organizer because the file was corrupted. 

I believe that these two projects are very different and they use different types of graphic organizers. The religion project focuses on expressing a few main ideas using images while the renaissance project tilts towards summering main ideas as well as many details using point form. They both utillize small, effective methods of listing points, but one uses images while the other use points. Over all I believe I performed better on the renaissance one simply because I did much more researches and note taking. Both of these projects use effective organizing and I learned a lot from both.

Renaissance–B

wish: 1. I should have used more varieties of graphic organizers, such as different charts.

           2. I should have had more information, as most of my points weren't very complex.

Star: 1. My poster was very efficient and easy to read, I kept all my organization at a similar format.

         1. My detail points were all organized well and showed that it belonged to each main ideas.

I believe I deserve a B for this project because although there weren't a lot of negatives to my project, I failed to meet one of the most important criteria for my project, which was to put effectively to use many different types of graphic organizers. Had I managed to use a few more graphic organizers, I believe my project would deserve an A.

Definition Poem

I’m the smartest of them all, I create beautiful objects.

I’m not too big or small, my size is perfect.

I think about a lot of things, but never everything.

I invent what is required, and praise what I have acquired.

I am a source of creation, but cause the greatest destructions.

I am not evil or good, but both lies within.

Not only do I think, I make things that can do it too.

I jot ideas down with ink, I learn things I haven’t knew.

I chop down many wood, to create things to sleep in.

I kill animals for food, I corrupt nature for pleasure.

To those I hate I can be rude, wasting time is part of my leisure.

I am the greatest evil that exist, the casualties I caused goes on for lists.

I am the best thing that’s ever created but I am also the end of it all.

my religion project took me a short amount of time to finish, it took me a long time to start making my poster because i had no ideas but i got the idea but and i had the whole poster in my mind.


*i did my presentation well by talking loud and prepared for questions by the audience. i also gave a lot of eye contacts
*i used my time well by using class time efficiently and using time at my house toget my speech prepared and checked

wish- i need to work on my poster a lot better. it was unorganized and not appealing to the eye. one word was upside down that i scratched out with whiteout what made it look worse

reflections
my renaissances poster took a long time to complete and i was sick the week we started so i had to cram   all my work into 1 weekend and still have time to study for my science test what didn't give my poster ant time.

i would give myself a C+ because i organized it poorly and didn't put in full effort what also left a lot of white space. this was not my best project and i need to do it better next time.

I learned a lot in my religion project about wicca and learned new ways to make posters and graphic organizers

Comparing posters

  2 stars for this poster is #1 i tried to keep as neat as possible so people could read it easily and it doesn't look so bad. #2 I thought the visuals were nice. My pictures aren't the best because i'm not a good drawer but i thought the pictures look nice with the poster. 1 thing I wish is that i had more time to work on it, it was a quick project and the poster could look nicer if I have spent more time on it. 

  The intentions for this project is to see what you have learned about the renaissance. The criteria said what you want on the poster and what you don't want. It said stuff to avoid so it didn't ruin your poster. I would assign myself a "B" for this poster because i did what most of the criteria said (visuals, color coated, etc.) But my visuals are not very good, i'm not a very good drawer. I learned from these 2 assignments is how to make and organize a graphic organizer. I am most proud of my renaissance poster because it definitely changed from my religion poster with color coating and organizing it better. But i thought my religion poster visuals were better.
